Today was our last day of travel around Switzerland. Tomorrow morning we get on a plane and head home. We have really enjoyed our time here. We found most people we met spoke english very well and were very willing to speak us in english. In restaurants they always offered us an english menu.
Today, we did not do too much, just rode around. We did not take the car ferry that we were supposed to take, because we just missed the previous ferry and we would have to wait for an hour for the next one. We did stop in Rapporswil and walked around the castle and ate lunch. After lunch we drove the rest of the way to the hotel, where we checked in for the night and ate supper
I really enjoyed our trip. We did not do the Grand Tour exactly, but we had fun. What I liked about Switzerland is that everyone was very friendly and spoke english, the cows really do wear cowbells and you can experience all different temperatures. In the alps, it is cold and down in the valleys, it was much warmer. What I did not like, is the parking situation. In cities you have to park in parking garages and remember to take the ticket with you so you can pay at he machine on your way back to the car. The parking spaces are also smaller than what we are used too. Even though we had two weeks, we still did not get to see everything we wanted too. Would I come back to Switzerland, sure would.
