We left Oakley, KS and headed south toward Monument Rocks. Monument Rocks are limestone formations that just up in a Kansas pasture. They are located down a gravel dirt road on private property, but you are allowed to visit them. There is no climbing on them or camping in the area. They are really something spectacular jutting up from the flat Kansas landscape. You can drive or walk all the ways around the formations.
Next, we headed to Garden City, KS and the Lee Richardson Zoo. If you walk through the zoo, it is free. We chose to drive and the cost was $10 per car. It is a small zoo, but the animals seem well taken card of and the zoo was clean. We enjoyed our time at the zoo.
We then headed toward Woodward, OK. When we were driving through Mullinville, KS, we saw all these metal sculptures next to the road. It was quite a surprise and very interesting,
