Today we had to go by the FerryScanner offices.  Tomorrow we are traveling by ferry to the island of Hydra.  I purchased the tickets through the FerryScanner website.  When I tried to check in to my phone it would not let me, so we walked to the FerryScanner office.  It was about an 8 minute walk from our hotel.  They are located on the 6 th floor.  They were able to check us in and send me an e-mail with our tickets.  So we are all set for tomorrow.

We then walked to Syntagma Square to we could watch the changing of the guards,  It was about a 5 minute walk.  They change guards every hour.  The whole thing took about 7 minutes and the way the guards walk it looks like in slow motion.

Jay wanted to go to the Panathenaic Stadium.  Our Hop On Hop Off bus tickets were still good, so we took it.  It is the only stadium in the world built of marble.  It was refurbushed in 1896 and hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics.

Jay decided he wanted to go to the area called Plaka to do some souvenir shopping.  We got back on the Hop On Hop Off bus and rode it around to Plaka.  We stopped and ate lunch and went souvenir shoppong.  We had about a 10 minute walk back to our hotel where we rested before heading out for dinner.
