[dropcap custom_class=”whb”]Tomorrow we fly home and back to the real world. We decided to take the car back a day early. We were not going to be driving it any where and I thought it would be easier to return it on Sunday. We were returning it to the airport. For a change we did not have any trouble locating the airport. I stopped and got gas and asked for directions to the car return place. we were able to follow his directions and found it without any trouble. We turned in the car and then took the CAT train back into Vienna. The CAT train is a very nice comfortable ride that take 16 minutes to take you from the airport to the Wien Mitte station. It cost 12 Euros per person. Once we arrived at the Wien Mitte station we got on the metro U4 and took it for 5 stops. The metro stop was only a couple of blocks from our hotel, an easy walk.

Since it was our last full day, we wanted to make the best of it. We got back on the Metro and rode it back to the center of Vienna. There we started walking. Jay was picking the place he wanted to go. we walked and walked and walked. It was also very hot. I sometimes think that Jay does not realize that I am twice as old as him and cannot walk as much as he can. We stopped and got ice cream and then ate lunch. Europeans really like their ice cream, there is an ice cream place on just about every block.
After that I convinced Jay that I had to go back to the hotel. My neck was bothering me and I could not fully turn it. Besides I was extremely hot and tired. when we got back to the hotel, I took two Advil and lay down. I told Jay to wake me about 5:30 and we would go get something for supper. I then fell asleep. He woke me in 2 hours. Jay said he wanted to eat at a restaurant that was only a could of blocks from the hotel. that sounded good to me. After dinner, it was back to the hotel.
I made a list of everything we purchased because I know I have to list it on the US customs form tomorrow. Next we will need to pack everything tonight. I have ordered a cab for 7 tomorrow morning. Our plane leaves around ten.
