Tokyo

I had a very restless night.  I went to sleep around 9, but was awake again at midnight.  I then read for a bit before I went back to sleep.  I was awake again by 4 AM.  Jay was also awake at 4.  He announced that he was going to take a bath, I asked him why so early and he replied that they start serving breakfast at 6:30.  He had us eating breakfast by 7 and we were out the hotel walking around by 7:30,  We walked all over the area near the hotel.  Then Jay decided he wanted to go to the Akasaka area.  We were able to figure out the subway and off we went.

We walked through an area with a lot of souvenir shops before reaching some temples .after walking around there I told Jay it was time to head toward Tokyo Station where we were supposed to join a tour group to Sumo wrestling.  We found the meeting spot and we were early, but it was nice to sit down for a while.  At the appropriate time we were put on a bus and taken to the main tour guide office.  We were assigned to different groups.  Our group was led by a lady named Rayko.  We were give a subway pass and the sumo wrestling ticket.  We then followed our tour guide to the subway station where we got on the train to take us to the arena.  We were shown to our seats,  the event was sold out.   The best wrestlers showed up around 3:30.  We stayed until six watching all the wrestlers.  Jay and I was going to leave there and go to the Tokyo Tower, but we got lost.  So we decided to head back to our hotel.  we ate in the restaurant downstairs and then returned to our hotel room for the night.
