Today, we were docked in Grenada. The tour Jay and I had booked had been cancelled. Grenada allowed everyone to get off the ship and travel freely around the island. I should mention that everyone on both Grenada and Barbados are strick about wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. We left the ship and found a taxi tour operator to give us a tour of the island. We went with another couple and a single guy. He took us all over the island.
What can I say about Grenada. It is a mountainous island with 110,000 people living on the island. The roads are very narrow and rough and go up and down and around the mountains. They grow a lot of spices in Grenada, especially cinnamon and nutmeg. The whole tour took around 2 hours, we then returned to the ship.
After returning to the ship, we ate lunch at the buffet, then returned to our cabin. I took a nap and Jay went to the fitness center. Tonight it was formal night so Jay and I had to get dressed up to eat in the main dining room. After supper, I returned to the cabin to read and Jay went up to the pool deck to watch a movie.
