We drove from International Falls to Bemidji, MN today. We did take a detour to Voyagers National Park, first. It consists of lakes and waterways. You really need a boat to really experience the park. We did not drive a direct route to Bemidji. We drove west to Thief River Falls and then turned south. Two deer ran across the road and I had to slam on the brakes so I did not hit them. I missed them by just a few feet. There were other deer that ran across the road also, but they were not as near to my car.
