[dropcap custom_class=”whb”]This morning when we woke up, it was cloudy and looked like rain. Our plan this morning was to take the Hop On Hop Off bus tour of Prague before we had to leave. We ate breakfast, packed up our things, checked out of the hotel and loaded up the car. We were leaving the car at the hotel because there is not many places to park near city center. We took off walking to the nearest tram stop. I had bought 24 hour tickets the day before and they were still good. I never did see anyone checking your tickets. We took the tram down to the Andrel shopping center and we went inside to get some more money from the ATM. After that we caught the 320 tram to the nearest Metro stop. At the metro stop we got on the A train for one stop, got off and walked to the Old Town Square, where we bought our tickets for the bus.

The first park of the bus is a 20 minute walk from the Square to where the actual bus is. I thought our guide would be pointing out places of interest as we waked along, but she did not. It was just follow me while I take you to the bus. We got on the bus and rode it around the entire loop without getting off, which took about 90 minutes. we were originally going to ride the complete circuit one time, then ride it back around to the Prague Castle and tour the castle. But we decided that we did not have enough time to do that and also souvenir shop. We will have to save the castle tour for another time. An interesting fact, is the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. Also, they pronounce and spell Prague as “Praha”
Then it was time to head back to our hotel and get our car. As usual, we could not find the tram stop and ended up taking a cab. Then it was off to Vienna. As usual, once we got to Vienna, we had trouble finding the hotel. The problem this time was complicated b the fact that some of the roads we needed to go down were blocked by the police and emergency vehicles. Eventually, we found the hotel, unloaded the car and parked in the parking garage. You drive the car down a narrow alley and have a key to unlock the garage door. Even though we have the car rented until Monday, I think we are going to turn it in tomorrow. The way we have difficulty locating laces, we might not locate the car rental place and miss our plane. I don’t think there should be any problem turning it in early.
