Today was a travel day. We were leaving Bangkok and going to Chiang Mai. I had arranged for a driver to pick us up at eight to take us to the airport . Our plane was scheduled to leave at 10:30 and arrive in Chiang Mai around 11:50. We were flying on Thai Airways. On board the plane they fed us a meal. It consisted of a sandwich which had two parts, one with peas and carrots and the other side with a mystery meat,, some kind of candy and orange juice.
Once we arrived, we collected our luggage and took a taxi to our hotel, Upon arrival at the hotel, they gave us a cold drink and checked us in, Then, we were escorted to our room. Jay likes to go for walks in the area so off we went. Jay is taking his pictures and I am following behind. Then back to the hotel for some much needed rest.
We found an Italian restaurant nearby for supper. Jay had a pizza and I had the spaghetti. Then back to the hotel.
