Osaka

Today we were traveling by shinkansen train (bullet train) to Osaka.  But first we had to eat breakfast and check out of the hotel.  We were having the hotel arrange to ship our two big pieces of luggage to our hotel in Osaka.  We were just taking a change of clothes in our carry on luggage.  This made traveling a lot easier.  We had to walk to the Shinjuku station and take the train to the Tokyo station.  There we got reserved seats for the the train leaving at 11;03.  This train had us arriving in Osaka at 2:00 PM,  The train trip was uneventful and I actually slept part of the way.   We were getting off the train at the Shin-Osaka exit, from there we got on the subway to take it to the Namba Station in Osaka.  We then walked from the station to our hotel.  It took about 9 minutes.  The reception for the hotel is on the 22nd floor.  We were given a room on the top floor (31st).  It is a little bit larger than the room in Tokyo.  It has the same high-tech toilet.

After taking a nap, we decided to head over to the Grand Front Osaka.  It is a huge shopping mall.  They have one floor that is nothing but restaurants.  We had to take the subway to get there.  after eating and walking around the mall, we decided to head over to the Dotonbori area of Osaka.  We walked around for a while and then decided to return to the hotel.  I was so tired and my feet hurt.
