We checked out of our hotel this mornings and headed back to Porto. We stopped at a couple of small towns along the way. When we got back to Porto, we decided to turn the car back in. Since we could not find anywhere to park at our hotel, we headed to the airport to return our car. We found the car rental return place without any problem. We then took the shuttle over to the airport where we got a taxi back to our hotel.
We went and found a small restaurant near our hotel for supper. Then when we returned to our hotel we ordered room service for dessert. We have an early flight tomorrow, so we need to make it an early night.
Most people in Portugal are nice and speak English. There were only a couple of bad experiences. One was today in Porto, when I was trying to find somewhere to park at our hotel, there was a jerk in the car behind me, that kept blowing his horn and making hand motions at me. But you know, there are jerks in every country. Overall Portugal is a beautiful country and I would consider returning one day.
