[dropcap custom_class=”whb”]This morning we had to  get another Compass card for Jay.  He found an Albertson’s grocery store about 1 mile from our hotel.  We took off walking down Market Street.  we eventually made it to the grocery store and got a new card.  Jay decided he wanted to go see Petco Park. Petco stadium is where they play there professional baseball games.  To get to Petco Park, we had to walk through an area that homeless people live.  they were lined up on the sidewalk one after the other.    After seeing Petco Park, we took the trolley back to our hotel.  We then went and got lunch.  After lunch we went back to our hotel to rest up before time to go to the football game.

Jay and I were attending the Holiday Bowl in Qualcomm Stadium.  The USC Trojans were playing the Nebraska Cornhuskers.  We caught the trolly accross the street from our hotel and road it to Qualcomm Stadium, about a 30 minute trip.  We had to walk around to the far side of the stadium to enter for our seats.  We were in the top tier of seats.  Once the sun went down, it got cold.  I think it was in the low 50’s.  The game was pretty close, but the USC Trojans ended up winning by three points.

After the game we got in line to catch the trolley back to our hotel.  It was a really long line.  We eventually made it on the trolley and rode it back to our hotel.  Since it was late, we ordered room service.
