Today we were spending it in Zermatt. After breakfast we headed to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The cable cars is almost a mile from our hotel. We walked of course. We bought our tickets for the cable car. It is actually three cable cars that get you to the top. We made it to the top and walked around and took pictures. It was cold at the top. The view was not very good because it was really cloudy so you couldn’t see very far. After looking around we took the three cable cars back down to Zermatt.
We then did some souvenir shopping before heading to the cop train station to Gorgnergrat. Again we bought our tickets. It is about a 33 minute train trip with several stops. We did not get off until we reached the top. There is an observatory at the top and several viewing platforms.
It is very beautiful and awe inspiring. We took plenty of pictures and probably spent an hour up there, before catching the train back to Zermat. After a brief rest at our hotel, we went to eat supper. THen back to the hotel.
