[dropcap custom_class=”whb”]This morning we got a late start because after midnight last night the fire alarm kept going off. It was a false alarm. When we did leave, we walked to the Baywaters tube station. We took the Circle line to Embankment station. From there we walked to Trafalgar Square. We were looking for the tourist information office so we could take the sightseeing hop on hop off bus. As usual, we walked all around the square and could not find it. I then saw the bus and asked the driver where the office was. With his directions we found it and got our tickets. We decided to just ride the bus all the way around and get an overview of London.

After riding it around one complete circuit, we then rode it to the Tower of London. There we used our London Pass to enter. We walked all around the Tower. It doesn’t much resemble a tower, it is more like a castle. After the tour of the Tower, we got on the boat and took the boat tour down to Westminster Abbey. From there we took the tube back to the Baywaters station. We ate supper at the Bella Italia. I had a very good spaghetti and meatballs. Jay had a chicken sandwich. Afterwards, we decided to go see a movie. Visiting movie theatres in foreign countries is another way to get to know the country you are in. After the movie it is time to go back to the hotel.
