Today, we decided to go to the British Museum. We took the Tube to the correct exit. We were walking in what I thought was the right direction, but we could not find it. I then noticed a group of elementary school children and guessed that they were probably heading to the museum. We followed them, and sure enough, that is where they went.
We spent the next several hours wandering around the museum. It is huge.
After the museum, we decided to go to Harrods. That place is enormous. It is the largest department store in Europe. We walked all throughout the store. I think everything in there was too expensive for me. We ate lunch there, and two burgers, one soft drink, and one milkshake cost £50, which converts to about $80 US. Very expensive.
We visited the Diana and Dodi memorial that is set up in the basement. Then we managed to find our way to the food court and purchased two cupcakes. They were very good. After that, we headed back to the hotel to rest up before dinner.
