Another day in London

[dropcap custom_class=”whb”]Today, we decided to go to Westminister Abbey, so after breakfast off we went.  We saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.  The interesting thing about Big Ben is that it is actually the name of the bell.  Then we went to Westminster Abbey.  There were a lot of famous people buried in the Abbey, such as Lewis Carroll, T S Eliot and Robert Browning, along with many more.  We walked all over the Abbey.  Next we went to Winston Churchill’s war room that he used during the World War.  Afterwards we were walking by the Guards Museum when they came marching by on their horses.  We stopped and watch them parade by.  We next went to Buckingham Palace.  You cannot tour this Palace because the Queen lives there.

After that we walked across the Green Park and ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe,  We both had burgers, then we decided we would go see a play that night.  There is a discount ticket place at Leister Square.  We took the subway there and found the place without any trouble.  Jay chose “We Will Rock You”.  The show started at 7:30.  We decided to go home and rest until time to go.

Around 6:30, we took off for the theatre.  It was in the Dominion Theatre at Tottingham Corner.  We were able to find the theatre without too much trouble.  I know we were seeing a rock opera, but the audience were very loud.  When the stage lights came on to indicate that the show was about to start, the crowd started screaming.  The show was very good.  After the show, we headed back to our hotel, but first we stopped at Subway to get something to eat.
