Today we slept in really late and did not leave the hotel until one. We decided to go to Harrod’s. I wanted to get a cupcake. I really don’t like Harrod’s, it is much too crowded. We found the food court, bought our cupcakes and then left. We then headed back to our hotel. On the Tube I saw the first act of kindness. Two gentlemen, stood up and gave their seats to a woman traveling Wyeth two small children. Then we exited the train and we were behind a lady that was trying to drag a heavy suitcase up the stairs. A gentlemen heading down the stairs stopped and offered to carry the bag up the stairs for her. When he got to the top, he gave the lady back her luggage and then headed back down the stairs to catch his train. It so nice to see this kind of chivalry.
We decided to eat supper at a Persian restaurant. I had a kebab with minced meat and one of lamb. Jay had chicken. We also had bread. It was served with saffron rice. I really like the way they cook rice. There was so much food I could not eat all of it. When we finished eating it was raining. so we had to walk back to the hotel in the rain.
