Today, Jay and I decided to take the Hop-On Hop-Off bus around Munich. The bus company offered three different routes. I bought our tickets online, and we found a stop near our hotel.
We first rode the bus to the main stop at the central train station. There, we switched to the Purple Line, which took us to Nymphenburg Palace. We got off the bus and toured the palace.
When we walked back to the bus stop to wait for the next bus, it started sprinkling rain. It was not raining hard, but enough to get you wet. The next stop on the route was Olympic Park, but we decided not to get off there.
Instead, we stayed on the bus and rode it back to the main starting point, where we switched to the third route. By that time, it was raining steadily, so we decided not to get off the bus at any additional stops.
When we returned to the main station, we got back on the Red Line and rode it to the Marienplatz stop, which was where we had originally boarded the bus earlier in the day. From there, we walked to the Christmas Market, where I bought a hot chocolate served in one of the souvenir mugs. Afterward, we walked back to the hotel.
Later, Jay went to the gym to work out while I took a nap. Since it was still raining, we decided to order delivery for supper instead of going back out in the rain.
