Today, Jay decided he wanted to do some hiking. Our first stop was Red Rock State Park. It was $7 per person to enter. Jay did a short hike first, then he did the longer hike. I am not able to hike, so I took my Kindle with me and read in the car while he was hiking.
When he had finished there, we drove to the Bell Mountain trailhead. He did the bell hike and then the Courthouse Butte Loop. Again, I waited in the car and read, napped, looked at my phone etc. He was gone about two hours. By then he was tired, so we went back to the condo to rest for a while. We did head out later to find something for supper. Again, we ate at a Mexican restaurant. After supper, it was time to head back to the condo to pack up. Tomorrow we are driving back to Phoenix to catch a flight home. Vacation’s over.
