Today, we were scheduled to go on a whale watching tour. The boat was docked about 30 minutes away from Oban. The last part of the drive was along a single-track road. The speed limit on the road is 60 mph, which seemed far too fast to me, as the road is hilly with many curves.
We made it there and pulled into the gravel parking lot. The tour was four hours long. We had a beautiful day for a boat ride—it was a rare sunny day in Scotland. We did not see many whales, but the boat ride was still very nice.
Afterward, we returned to our hotel, where I took a nap, and Jay worked out for a while and then went for a walk.
Later, we went back out and walked around before eating supper.
